{"id":24297,"date":"2026-02-03T09:49:29","date_gmt":"2026-02-03T09:49:29","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/amityschools.in\/gurugram46\/?page_id=24297"},"modified":"2026-02-03T09:57:48","modified_gmt":"2026-02-03T09:57:48","slug":"youth-power-2024-25","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/amityschools.in\/gurugram46\/youth-power-2024-25\/","title":{"rendered":"Youth Power 2024-25"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><strong>Date: April 30, 2025<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Youth Power team of the school titled \u2018Drishti\u2019, won the Jury Special Mention Award along with AIS VKC Lucknow at the grand finale of the 16<sup>th<\/sup> Youth Power, while also winning the award for Best Social Implementation. Youth Power is a year long annual ethical leadership and social awareness competition organised under the aegis of The Global Times. Team Drishti, led by team leader Riya Jain (XI) along with Sanvi Mittal (XI), Mrinali Kathpalia (XI) and Aadit Jain (VIII) conducted activities to raise awareness about visual impairment. To allow visually impaired to experience the cognitive benefits, the team designed two Tactile Rubik\u2019s Cube, one number based, and another shape based which has also been copyrighted, with a purpose to ensure that everyone should have an opportunity to engage, learn, and grow regardless of their abilities. They also organised a workshop on making Braille paper and collaborated with well-known restaurants to introduce Braille menus in their establishments. The event was graced by IPS Preeti Yadav, ADDL. SP (IPS) \/ DCP, Police Commissionerate, Gautam Buddha Nagar and Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools and RBEF along with principals and other dignitaries of all the schools of Amity Group. The unique competition for sensitizing youth was judged by the eminent jury comprising Ms. Sumitra Goenka, entrepreneur and social activist, and Mr. Steve Rocha, Chief Visionary and Identity Leader at PRATYeK.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class='white' style='background:rgba(0,0,0,0);
