Eco School Green Flag Award<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n

July 31, 2024<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n

The school has been awarded the prestigious Eco School Green Flag Award and Global Sustainable School Certification for the years 2024-2026 by Centre for Environment Education under the Foundation for Environmental Education, a global sustainable programme that aims to raise students\u2019 awareness on sustainable development issues through classroom study as well as school and community action. This award recognizes the schools\u2019 exceptional commitment to environmental education and sustainable practices. The school has received the award for its adoption and implementation of Seven Step Methodology which comprised formation of the Eco Committee, carrying out environmental review, linking of activities to the curriculum, implementation of the action plan, monitoring and evaluation of the activities conducted, informing and involving the parents and community and finally formation of the school Eco Charter. The program has helped school foster positive impacts in areas like water conservation, waste management, energy efficiency, biodiversity preservation, and promoting healthy living practices.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Principal, Ms. Meenu Kanwar, has been awarded with the prestigious \u2018Principal of Innovation Award\u2019 at the closing ceremony of the Youth Ideathon 2023,
India\u2019s most exciting innovation and entrepreneurship competition for school students, organised by MEPSC (Management & Entrepreneurship and
Professional Skill Council) and ThinkStartup, India\u2019s largest entrepreneurship education provider. She has been awarded for her outstanding contribution in
fostering a culture of creativity in the school and transforming it into a hub of ingenuity. The national award received under the visionary leadership of Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools and RBEF, recognises principals who have introduced innovative programs, embraced new
teaching methods, and nurtured a culture of innovation from all over the country. The annual competition, this year was based on the theme of \u2018iStartup
a Good Thing for India\u2019 and witnessed participation by 1.5 lakh students at all India level.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
