The school is divided into four houses named after the prominent tributaries of Ganga – Alaknanda, Bhagirathi, Mandakini and Pawani. Each House has a House mistress and tutors to guide students on what they should do and how they should reach their goals. The House mistress and tutors work together in the Amity system as friends, advisers and confidants to each house member. They organize various activities such as dramatics, elocution, quiz, group singing, dance, etc. not only to find talents but also to widen the horizon of our dear Amitian students. It is believed that the house system inculcates in students the qualities of leadership, cooperation, mutual understanding, tolerance and self-reliance. The House system begins at the primary level and is carefully monitored at every stage.
