First held in 2004 in Singapore, it now attracts 1000 participants from 32 countries.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The competition consists of two different categories. In the regular category, teams must assemble robots that can solve a specific problem. In the open category, teams must present designs for robots, based on a given theme. The contest is also conducted for three different age groups: elementary, junior and senior.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>WRO 2010 was conducted in Philippines. Three students from class XI, Raghav Kochar, Sartak Vaish and Aditya Garg, participated and were declared 4th internationally.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Amity Noida, being a steady participant to the World Robot Olympiad has won many accolades for its performances.
