YOUNG RESEARCHERS IN NATURAL SCIENCE

YRoNS is a scientific student programme that was initiated by Istvan Sandor, a science teacher from Hungary. It offers students an opportunity to showcase natural science researching projects. It was started in 2007 in Budapest and the venue of the conference always changes from 2009 depending on the organiser partner school. Under this initiative students from different countries, exchange experiences between students interested in science and improve student’s language skills.

10th YRoNS Conference at Norway
Ten students from Amity Group of Schools comprising Rudraksh Ahluwalia and Shivansh Sharma from the school participated in the 10th International Conference, Young Researchers in Natural Science (YRoNS) held at Arendal Videregaende Skole, Norway from April 24- 28, 2017. The theme for this year’s coveted symposium ‘Energy for the future’, was organised under the aegis of Amity Educational Resource Centre (AERC). Team Amity India gave presentations on topics such as Battery Mould, Hydrogen Fuel Cells, Algae on urban walls, Green Electricity, Conservation, Biofuel production by algae treatment, etc. which were highly appreciated by the International audience for their innovative matter and research.
