Team Urja, an all-girls team from Amity, comprising three Class X students, namely Sanjana Chauhan (AIS Noida), Samara Chauhan (AIS Pushp Vihar), and Samaya Chauhan (AIS Pushp Vihar), bagged the Best Practices of Project Management Award at F1 in Schools World Championship held in Singapore. Team Urja bagged the award by beating the teams from Saudi Arabia and Australia. They were also nominated for the women in motorsports award and had earlier bagged first runner-up award at the national level competition. Project Management is an integral part of F1 in Schools competition, in which participating teams have to prepare a project report in the form of a portfolio and showcase how they initiated, planned, executed, monitored, and closed it. The event organised by F1 in Schools Limited, a social enterprise, saw participation from 68 countries. It is the only global multi-disciplinary challenge in which teams of students aged 9-19 years use CAS/CAM software to design, analyse, manufacture, test, and race miniature compressed air-powered cars made from F1 model block.
