IPBL

Integrated Project-Based Learning (IPBL) is a dynamic approach that connects the different subjects through projects that foster a holistic and immersive learning experience for students. In this method, students engage in solving real-world problems or addressing complex questions.

It serves as a powerful tool to bridge the gap between theoretical knowledge and practical application.

Integration: Concepts and events are observed and examined through multiple lenses. This elevates the students’ understanding and strengthens the connection with the subject matter.

Integrated Project Based Learning: Students investigate and respond to a complex essential question or challenge using knowledge gained through different subject areas and by making cross curricular connections.

Choosing problem-based learning as a method means the teacher must follow certain teaching and learning steps.

There are 5 phases:

  • Project presentation & identification,
  • Individual/ Team research,
  • Design Development,
  •  Building & Testing & Evaluation and Project delivery
