It was an epic moment for Amity as its young innovators captured all final top 5 ranks out of 25 finalists at Empowering Pupil Innovation and Creativity (EPIC) 2021.Gunek Singh Chaddha of Class XI, bagged second runner up position for his project ‘Heat disinfectant kit’ while, the team of Class IX students, Yash Wadhwa and Diya Mahalwal was declared fourth runner-up for their idea UV’s WAND (ultraviolet sensor sanitizer). Organised by CSIR-Indian Institute of Toxicology Research, Lucknow as a part of CSIR ‘Jigyasa’, the competition received innovative ideas in science by more than 3000 students from all over country. Based on evaluation of the innovations submitted by students, 25 entries were shortlisted for the final round, which were then presented to the panel of judges comprising scientists & educationists.
