The annual Inter Amity GT Making a Newspaper Contest introduced by Chairperson Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan and organized by The Global Times, introduces the school students to the different nuances of journalism in a competitive atmosphere. Under this programme, every school prepares one complete edition of the newspaper from the stage of conceptualization to finalizing the designing, layouts and editing. The competition, judged by experts from the media industry, concludes with GT Awards.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

2015-2016 -><\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The GT edition dated February 1, 2016 prepared completely by the students of AIS PV as part of GT Making-a-Newspaper Contest bagged several awards. Aastha Gupta of X D bagged first prize for the Best Fictional Story. Vaani Rawat of X C won third prize for the Best Headline. Debargha Roy of XD bagged first prize for the Most Innovative Story. Mriganka Singh of Class XI D won the Best Illustration award. The school lifted the overall First Runner Up GT Best Newspaper Award 2015-16 as well as the First Runner Up for GT Best Editorial Award 2015-16.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
