The Youth Power team of the school lifted the coveted winner\u2019s trophy jointly with AIS Noida and also bagged the award for Best Community Outreach Programme, at the grand finale of the 15th<\/sup> Youth Power, the annual ethical leadership and social awareness competition. The team Ann Maan comprising team leader Koena Malhotra, along with team members Samara Chauhan, Naavya Lodh & Shevansh Nagar took upon the cause of \u2018Food wastage\u2019 and spread conducted many activities to spread awareness on the same. They collaborated with five start hotels to collect surplus food and organised food for the needy. They also installed a community fridge for helpers and collected left over food items like coffee grounds, overripe vegetables to make soaps and paints which were then sold at fairs to raise funds for women from the less privileged sections. Total 12 handpicked teams from Amity Group of Schools Pan India participated in the event graced by academic, social activist and\u00a0 technocrat Mr. Vinit Goenka, as the chief guest. Mr. Rishikant Mishra, Founder and President, Udaar Foundation, Noida and Dr. Rahul Kapoor, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida were the jury members of the event.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
