Students clinched first position at the 1st Old Gurugram Rapid Open Chess Tournament, organised by Check vs Mate Chess Academy at Educrest International School, Gurugram. Arshpreet Singh (XII) won a trophy and a cash award of INR 5000 in the U-19 category, while Aditya Tiwari (VII) and Shashwat Swarup Dash (V) won trophies in the U-13 and U-9 categories respectively. The district-level event saw participation from around 210 students across Delhi/NCR.
