The Youth Power team of the school bagged the award for Best Presentation at the grand finale of the 15th Youth Power, the annual ethical leadership and social awareness competition. The Team ‘Gullak’ comprising team leader Pia Gujral, along with Rupal Verma, Samarth Sawhney and Tej Nanda and their mentor conducted several activities to spread awareness on financial literacy. They imparted lessons on financial responsibility and the pleasure of saving with school staff, children and senior citizens and helped them start SIPs. They also created awareness on how to be safe from financial frauds and even educated people about the concept of GST and other service taxes. Total 12 handpicked teams from Amity Group of Schools Pan India participated in the event graced by academic, social activist and technocrat Mr. Vinit Goenka, as the chief guest. Mr. Rishikant Mishra, Founder and President, Udaar Foundation, Noida and Dr. Rahul Kapoor, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida were the jury members of the event.
