School celebrated the 78th Independence Day of India with and patriotic fervour. The event commenced with the flag hoisting by principal, Ms. Purnima Ghoshal followed by national anthem. The school principal in her speech, highlighted the sacrifices made by the freedom fighters and the value of independence. It was followed by a series of cultural performances that included a medley of patriotic songs and a a short skit titled ‘Aazadi ki Kahani’ depicting the Indian freedom struggle. Kavya Bharadwaj of Class VIII delivered an eloquent speech about the significance of Independence Day and the responsibilities that come with freedom.
