The Youth Power team of the school bagged the award for Best Ground Survey at the grand finale of the 15th Youth Power, the annual ethical leadership and social awareness competition. The team ‘Culinirator’ comprising team leader Devina Singh along with Ananya Agarwal, Vaibhav Pandey and Abhijeet Maurya, and their mentor conducted several activities to spread awareness on Culinary Heritage. To popularize the traditional dishes of Indian states, the team shared grandparents recipes, organized special celebrations where only food pertaining to that festival were cooked. They also held ‘Spice Day’ to help understand the role of Indian spices in adding specific flavour to food and their health benefits and created a ‘Lost Recipe Book’ that shared selected recipes representing various regions and eras of Indian cuisine.
