ASSEMBLY REPORT: EMPATHY & COMPASSION IN A COMPETITIVE WORLD
On 3rd August 2026, the students of Class XII-A and B conducted a thought-provoking morning assembly on the theme 'Empathy & Compassion in Times of a Competitive World' from 8:00 AM to 8:45 AM. The presentation began with an expressive contemporary dance performance that vividly depicted the modern student's daily struggle—capturing the adrenaline rush, heightened anxiety, and relentless pace of today's competitive life.
To offer a powerful counter-perspective, the students turned to timeless epic literature, enacting poignant episodes from the Mahabharata. Through the heroic characters of Karna, Arjuna, and Draupadi, the performance illustrated how compassion, empathy, and forgiveness remain vital anchors, demonstrating the critical importance of holding onto moral values even under immense pressure.
The assembly concluded on an uplifting note with an exquisite classical dance performance, followed by a melodious group song. Adding to the celebratory atmosphere, the school recognized student achievements by felicitating the prize winners of the Amity Space Settlement and Sharkathon competitions. Closing the event, Vice-Principal Dr. S. K. Singhal lauded the students for their commendable efforts, insightful message, and flawless execution.
