A special assembly was conducted by Class III and VII, to celebrate the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi and Lal Bahadur Shastri. The assembly commenced with a soulful choir performance, rendering Gandhiji’s favourite bhajans, ‘Vaishnav Jan To Tene Kahiye’ and ‘Raghupati Raghav Raja Ram’. Following this, students presented thought-provoking message on nonviolence, a skit on pivotal events from Gandhiji’s and Shashtriji’s life and a quiz. Principal Ms Rachna Mishra in her address, encouraged the young learners to embrace the fundamental principles of these leaders as guiding values of life. The assembly concluded with students making pledge to keep country clean and free of pollution.
