Students of Class V organised a special assembly to express reverence and gratitude for ‘The Mothers’. The assembly commenced with the recitation of the ‘Gayatri Mantra’, followed by a prayer song and Sanskrit shloka, ‘Janani Janma-bhoomi-scha Swargadapi Gariyasi’. Students also presented a skit highlighting the inspiring qualities of every mother like patience, gentleness, caring, understanding, etc. Students also gave a dance performance on the song ‘O Meri Maa’, highlighting the beautiful bond of love between a mother and a child.
