Over 500 students from India and overseas participated in the 11th edition of Amity International Model United Nations 2018, held at Amity University, Noida on November 15-17, 2018. The programme saw an international delegation from 12 countries and 6 states pan India take part in eight committees namely WTO, Gen Assembly, CCPCJ, AIPPM, BJP-RSS, HSC, UNSC and EU to deliberate upon a wide range of issues. Aman Singh, Daksh Jalani and Sanya Kanwar served as Vice Chairperson of Gen Assembly, WTO and CCPCJ respectively. Raghav Pardasani (Rapporteur, CCPCJ) and Chirag Pawani (Rapporteur, EU) were the members of Executive Board. Kriti Singh, Shivansh Sharma, Pratham Mehta, Sukarm Sharma and Noor Chawla won Special Mention award. Shivika Dudani, Dhruv Banerjee, Tanmay Awasthi and Tanya Talwar won High Commendation award. Saumya Chauhan and Risa Bhandari won Best Position Paper. Students also got an opportunity to attend workshop on Forensic Sciences and Biotechnology at Amity University.
