The 16th Amity International Model United Nations (AIMUN) 2025, held at Amity University, Noida, brought together over 750 delegates from 15 nationalities, reaffirming its position as a premier platform for global diplomacy and leadership. The conference opened with an address by Mrs. Jyoti Arora, Chargé d’Affaires, acknowledging the visionary guidance of Chairperson Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, who was honoured with the Youth Noble Peace Prize, presented by Dr. Obijiofor Aginam, Director, UNESCO MGIEP. Key highlights included messages from international dignitaries, the ceremonial gavel handover, and the vibrant AIMUN Cultural Festival, hosted by Amity International School, Pushp Vihar, celebrating global unity under the theme “Charitra Hi Dhanottamam – Character is the Greatest Wealth.” The conference concluded with intensive committee deliberations, a reflective closing ceremony graced by Dr. Sheel Kant Sharma, Former Ambassador of Austria, and an award ceremony honouring excellence in diplomacy, marking AIMUN 2025 as a resounding success.
