It is with great warmth and a profound sense of privilege that I write to you as the Principal of Amity International School, VYC, Lucknow.
For 35 years, Amity has stood as a living testament to the vision of our founding Chairperson, respected Mrs. Amita Chauhan, and Founder President Dr. Ashok Chauhan , a vision rooted in one unshakeable belief: that every child is important. This conviction is not a slogan for us; it is the compass by which every classroom, every curriculum, and every conversation in this school is guided.
Our motto, Vidya Dadati Vinayam ,knowledge bestows humility , is captured beautifully in our emblem: a child holding a book, blooming like a lotus. It reminds us daily that true education does not merely inform the mind; it shapes character, cultivates compassion, and nurtures the courage to bloom in one’s own way, in one’s own time.
Guided by our Chairperson’s philosophy of BHAAG ,Behaviour, Hard work, Attitude, Ambition, and belief in God , we strive to build not just achievers, but individuals of integrity. In alignment with the National Education Policy 2020 and the National Curriculum Framework, our academic journey is designed to be holistic, competency-based, and joyful , balancing rigorous scholarship with the arts, sport, values education, and hands-on discovery.
As Principal, my commitment to every parent who entrusts us with their child, and every child who walks through our gates, is simple: we will see you, we will know you, and we will walk beside you.
