Amitasha is More than just a school, it's a place where we work to fulfil the dreams of those who have dared to dream.
Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan Chairperson of Amity Group of Schools & RBEF, leads Amitasha, a visionary chain of schools dedicated to underprivileged girls. Established on April 7, 2000, under the Amitasha Foundation, this initiative empowers girls through education, nurturing them from Nursery to Class XII. Prioritizing quality education, holistic development, and healthcare, Amitasha aims to cultivate confident, educated leaders who will shape India's future.
Amity is driven by a deep commitment to philanthropy and corporate social responsibility, alongside providing world-class education. Amitasha is one such humanitarian initiative reflecting this commitment, aiming to empower and nurture girls as future leaders. These energized girls will play a crucial role in propelling India towards becoming a global hub of knowledge and innovation.
The education of the girl child from poor socio-economic backgrounds is pivotal to the heart of our Honourable Chairperson, Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan. A humanist to the core, the sight of little girls doing chores in nearby slums, moved and strengthened her belief that recognising the implication of girls' education is not just a matter of social justice.
“It is a creation of a self-reliant workforce that will be an immense investment, both, at the domestic level as well as in the nation's future. Hence, no society can deprive them of their right to mainstream education.”

It was this thought that saw the inception of her dream philanthropic project, 'Amitasha'. A school for girls from a humble background, it empowers them through free education up to Class XII, encourages them to dream beyond stereotype roles, while inspiring confidence and the aspiration to grow.
