At Amity, Science is a mindset. Chairperson Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan vision led to the 2011 launch of the Children’s Science Foundation—nurturing innovation from a young age.
At Amity, we think that science is about asking the right questions, not just finding the answers. For this reason, the Amity Children's Science Foundation was established in 2011 by our Chairperson, Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, Amity Group of Schools.
“Her idea, which was sparked by the Vasudha science fair's success organized for the first time in 2006, was straightforward: provide young people with the resources and environment they need to experiment, explore, and create for the future.”

The Chairperson of Amity Group of Schools, Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan has positioned the group at the forefront of educational innovation, impacting the learning journeys of thousands of children. She strongly champions nurturing imagination and intellectual examination, and wishes for a platform where students could practice science. This vision became a reality in 2006 with the introduction of the annual inter-school science fair, Vasudha, which grew to be a platform for young scientists to tackle real-world problems.
" The success of Vasudha led to the creation of the Amity Children’s Science Foundation (ACSF), which serves as the first step to embed STEAM learning into the holistic approach of our schools."
With ACSF, students have the unique opportunity to be problem solvers and create innovations that can bring about significant changes. Dr. Chauhan passionately asserts, “Education is not in the answers; education is in the questions you dare to ask.” With this vision, Amity seeks to actively build a generation of innovators and problem-solvers, providing them with the tools to transform the future.
Our students have excelled in top science contests including CSIR, EPIC, IRIS, INSEF, INTEL, CBSE Science Exhibition, NCSC, INSPIRE, and ATL Marathon.

With advanced labs and dedicated innovation spaces, students explore ideas, prototype solutions, and conduct real-world experiments.

From green tech to inclusive design, our students lead projects like automatic irrigation systems, solar agri-vehicles, eco-friendly sanitary pads, and marine drones—offering practical, scalable solutions.
Through industry tie-ups and academic partnerships,, students access internships, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge advancements.
Students have filed over 100 patents and copyrights—proving that innovation begins in the classroom.
Amity continues to expand its STEM vision with more programmes, outreach, science fairs, and workshops—igniting scientific curiosity within the school and beyond.
The National Youth Robotics Challenge (NYRC) is a premier platform organized by ACSF that empowers students across India to explore their creativity, technical skills, and innovative thinking through robotics. Designed as a team-based, fun-filled competition, NYRC features thrilling categories such as Robowar, Robo Soccer, Line Follower, and Innovation Challenge, encouraging young minds to solve real-world problems using cutting-edge technology. With its focus on collaboration, STEM education, and hands-on learning, NYRC aims to inspire the next generation of engineers, scientists, and tech leaders.
The 2025 edition of NYRC was a landmark celebration of talent and tech brilliance, bringing together:
Winners were honored with cash prizes, recognizing their excellence and dedication.
NYRC 2025 wasn't just a competition—it was a vibrant festival of innovation that sparked inspiration and future possibilities.
