The Youth Power team of the school bagged the ‘Creativity for a Cause’ award at the grand finale of the 15th Youth Power, the annual ethical leadership and social awareness competition. The team ‘Divya Jyoti’ comprising team leader Faiza Khan along with Ashutosh Verma, Vaishnavi Yadav and Aditi Verma, and their mentor conducted several activities to spread awareness on sensitivity towards specially abled. The organised workshops to cultivate an inclusive and respectful environment for all individuals and helped specially abled students to apply for Unique Disability Identity Card, an initiative by the government of India to champion the cause and uplift the specially abled. They also created a ‘Sense Wise’ board game to encourage specially abled cultivate curiosity, enquiry, and develop their fine motor skills.
