Debapriya Maiti of Class XI won second prize in the UP-state level Hindustani Classical Vocal Music at Kala Utsav, held at Prayagraj. She presented Raag Vrindavani Sarang, a beautiful devotional raga. The competition showcased 30 talented singers. Kala Utsav is a unique programme of the Department of School Education and Literacy (DSE&L), Ministry of Education (MoE), designed to foster and showcase the rhythmic talent of school students.
