The school celebrated its Annual Day, ‘Shivraya – The Warrior King’, wherein 990 students, from classes VI to XII, showcased a cultural extravaganza depicting Bal Gangadhar Tilak and Gopal Ganesh Agarkar’s efforts for a national awakening through the newspaper Kesari. Followed by a musical production themed on the life of Chhatrapati Shivaji Bhosle. The mesmerising event was graced by Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools and RBEF, along with the chief guest Ms Geetali Tare, senior bureaucrat at Indian Audit and Account Service and guest of honour Air Marshal SK Vidhate (Retd) AVSM, YSM, VM.
The occasion also marked felicitation of achievers. Manan Gupta received the Late Baljeet Shastri Shield for All-Round Best Student; Keertana Harisg was awarded Vedavati Vidyalankar Shield for upholding Indian Heritage & Values; Ripunjay Vashishth was felicitated with Chairperson’s Appreciation Award for Outstanding Achievement during Academic Year (2024-2025); Ira Aggarwal received Dhananjay Mohan trophy for Science Creativity and Innovation and Aarv Seth received Europa India Foundation Cup for Sports Achievements. Siya Makhija, Tanvi Jain and Navya Nagar were awarded Founder’s Cup for Academic Topper of Class-XII (99.2%). The evening progressed with the Scottish Band playing tunes of the Highlands. The Chairperson in her address, inspired Amitians and 2000 parents present on the occasion to carry forward the legacy and wisdom of our warrior king and make India proud.
