Three young innovators, namely Garv Jhunjhunwala, Shrey Arora and Gaurav Jhunjhunwala from Class X were part of the special guest list featuring over 4,000 individuals, identified by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi as vital to India’s progress. The guests were categorised into 11 groups and invited to witness 78th Independence Day celebrations from August 12-15, 2024. The trio was extended the invite as ‘Special guests’ by Atal Innovation Mission (AIM), NITI Aayog for making the school and nation proud with their project ‘Electro Spinner’ which grabbed place among top 75 projects all over India by AIM. The opportunity extended by Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson, Amity Group of Schools & RBEF, testifies Amity’s commitment to nurture future nation builders. During the programme, they visited prominent places like Rashtrapati Bhavan and interacted with Dr Chintan Vaishnav, mission director, AIM, NITI and Rao Inderjit Singh, minister of Planning and minister of Statistics and Programme Implementation. On August 15, 2024, the trio also had the opportunity to listen to PM’s speech and witness Independence Day celebrations live.
