Young innovators of the school won big laurels at the Youth Ideathon 2023, India’s most exciting innovation and entrepreneurship competition for school students, organised by MEPSC (Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skill Council) and ThinkStartup, India’s largest entrepreneurship education provider. Project ‘Solar Saini Box’ by Hitika Mathur (XII), Dhruvi Gupta (XII), and Purvi Gupta (VIII) received the judge’s appreciation award. Further adding to the laurels were the following projects that featured amongst top 1000 all over India – ; ‘Ecotoys’ by Aanya Jain, Anshika Jain, and Stephen Davis, all from Class IX ; ‘Meditech App’ by Samarth Kalra (VIII), Nirvaan Jain (VIII), and Ayushmaan Singh (VII) ; ‘Solar Panel Cleaner’ by Shaurya Arora, Divishee Singh, and Arjun Dubey, all from Class IX. The annual competition was based on the theme of ‘iStartup a Good Thing for India’. Students are guided to identify societal problems and propose solutions under the theme ‘Mera Idea Jo Badal De Bharat’. The event witnessed around 1.5 lakh students participate in a five-stage competition. Out of the initial 50,000 entries, 1000 ideas were selected for finals at all India level, which then competed for the top slots.
