Vanya Tyagi of Class V emerged as one of the top five national winners of the first ever Expression Series organised online by CBSE. The theme of the competition was ‘Skill Development in India: From Local to Global’, wherein students had to submit an essay, poem, painting, or paragraph based on the theme. The topic for Class III-V was ‘A famous Indian personality who achieved success through his/her skills’. Vanya drew a winsome pencil sketch of the international chef, Vikas Khanna who has taken Indian cuisine all around the globe.
