To unravel the unique essence of the term ‘Meraki’ i.e ‘To do something with soul’, the school organised TEDx AIS PV, a youth event to highlight the significance of Meraki in the lives of humans. The event saw four speakers shed light on the application of Meraki in their lives and the transformation they experienced thereafter. RJ Rohan, of 93.5 Red FM shared his journey from being a child RJ to becoming a prominent radio personality and further delved into the realm of mental health, emphasising the pivotal role of family. Next up, Raja Jain, a renowned photographer from Canon (India) gave insights on building self-confidence and self-awareness for success as well as highlighted the challenges in the field of photography, emphasising the need to adapt to situations. Nalin Jayaswal, a school alumnus , currently at University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) reflected upon his personal transformation from introversion to visibility, encapsulating the essence of Meraki in his life. Another school alumnus Divyansh Jain, a researcher at Durham University, USA, centred his talk around sustainability and addressed the issue of stubble burning affecting Indian farmers, proposing solutions that integrate sustainability and technology. Furthermore, he introduced the Green Machine Project, showcasing the potential of e-bikes in promoting sustainable business across the globe.
