Students of Class IV- VIII conducted a special assembly based on the theme ‘Heritage of West Bengal’ to celebrate the state’s rich cultural and historical legacy and its contributions to India’s cultural identity. The event began with students highlighting West Bengal’s significance in shaping the nation’s heritage. A captivating video followed, showcasing historical landmarks and cultural treasures. The assembly featured a soulful performance of Rabindranath Tagore’s ‘Ekla Chalo Re’ and a lively dance on the folk song ‘Fagunero Mohonay,’ celebrating the colourful spring festival. Students also enacted the roles of eminent personalities like Rabindranath Tagore, Subhash Chandra Bose, Mother Teresa, Swami Vivekanand and Satyajit Ray bringing their contributions to life. An interactive quiz session engaged all the students, followed by an inspiring message from school principal Roli Tripathi about preserving India’s cultural heritage.
