INTRODUCTION
The annual Inter Amity GT Making a Newspaper Contest introduced by Chairperson Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan and organized by The Global Times, introduces the school students to the different nuances of journalism in a competitive atmosphere. Under this programme, every school prepares one complete edition of the newspaper from the stage of conceptualization to finalizing the designing, layouts and editing. The competition, judged by experts from the media industry, concludes with GT Awards.

AIS Saket bagged the Best School Newspaper Award at the 12th edition of the GT Awards 2020 grand finale held virtually. The school also bagged the Best Design Award along with other awards in various categories.Resham Talwar (XI C), Keshav Gupta (XI C) & Sanya Bhohi (XI E) won the Best Educational Poster award. Tanishi Adhikari (XI D), Vibhu Khare & Resham Talwar (XI C) bagged the second prize for Best Ground Reporting. Raghav Sharma (VII A) and Raghav Agrawal (X B) took home the second prize for Best Fictional Story and Best Graphic. Sapriya Sharma (XI E) got third prize for the Most Outstanding Story. Stuti Kakkar was bestowed with the School Time Achievement award. The contest was judged by Bharti Jain, Senior Editor, The Times of India and Sunil Pew, senior graphic design consultant.
