The Youth Power team of the school won the second runner up award jointly with AIS Vasundhara 1, at the grand finale of the 15th Youth Power, the annual ethical leadership and social awareness competition. It also bagged awards for the Best Documentation and the Best Mentor Teacher. The team ‘Gulab-Ho – I pink I can’, comprising team leader Umber Fatima along with Meera Sehgal, Shivanjali Sapra, Advait Pandey and their mentor took up the cause of spreading awareness about Breast Cancer. The team also created wigs, prosthetic bras and care packages and donated those to cancer patients at the Indian Cancer Society in Chittaranjan Park. Total 12 handpicked teams from Amity Group of Schools Pan India participated in the event graced by academic, social activist and technocrat Mr.Vinit Goenka, as the chief guest. Mr. Rishikant Mishra, Founder and President, Udaar Foundation, Noida and Dr. Rahul Kapoor, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida were the jury members of the event.
