AIS VYC, Lucknow hosted VASUDHA 4.0 – Inter-School Science Fest on 21 August 2026, bringing together young innovators, educators and distinguished scientific minds for a vibrant celebration of scientific inquiry, creativity and innovation.
Held under the inspiring theme “Innovate & Illuminate: The Future of Science,” the science fest provided students with a dynamic platform to explore ideas, present innovative solutions and demonstrate how science and technology can contribute towards a smarter, sustainable and brighter future.
The event was graced by Chief Guest Prof. M. G. Thakkar, Director, Birbal Sahni Institute of Palaeosciences, whose presence and inspiring words encouraged students to nurture curiosity, scientific thinking and a spirit of exploration. Guest of Honour Dr. Javed Alam, CBSE City Coordinator and Director, Lucknow Public Collegiate, also addressed the gathering and applauded the efforts of the participating students and schools.
The occasion was further enriched by the presence of Dr. Lalit Mittal, Head, Children’s Science Foundation for Amity Schools, and Mr. Rohit Mishra, Director of Programmes, Amity University, Lucknow, along with distinguished school principals.
A panel of eminent experts evaluated the students’ innovative presentations. The esteemed jury comprised Dr. Sanjeev Yadav, Principal Scientist, Academic Affairs Unit, CSIR-Central Drug Research Institute; Dr. Nimesh Kapoor, Distinguished Scientist and Science Communicator; Dr. Pragya Trivedi, Project Scientist, CSIR-CMAP; Ms. Pooja Sharma, Project Coordinator, Children’s Health Literacy Programme; and Ms. Preeti M. Shah, Communication Development Professional.
The event commenced with a warm and soulful welcome, including Jal Samarpan and a captivating welcome dance, setting the tone for a day filled with enthusiasm and scientific spirit. The gathering also witnessed inspiring addresses by the dignitaries, followed by felicitation and prize distribution, celebrating the achievements and innovative spirit of the participating students.
VASUDHA 4.0 went beyond being a science competition. It created an environment where young minds could question, experiment, collaborate and innovate, while recognising the importance of science in addressing real-world challenges. The event encouraged students to look at scientific advancement through the lens of innovation, sustainability and environmental responsibility.
With its blend of scientific exploration, creativity and meaningful collaboration, VASUDHA 4.0 reaffirmed the commitment of Amity International School, Vrindavan Yojna to nurturing scientifically curious, socially responsible and future-ready learners. The event concluded on a celebratory note, leaving participants inspired to continue exploring, innovating and illuminating the future through the power of science.
