The Youth Power team of the school lifted the coveted winners trophy jointly with AIS Pushp Vihar and also bagged the award for Best Creative Communication Act, at the grand finale of the 15th Youth Power, the annual ethical leadership and social awareness competition. The team ‘DrigJs’B’ comprising team leader Khyati Naudiyal, along with Akshita Singh, Tuvijeet Sharma & Devanshi Vyas, conducted several activities to spread awareness on eye care. They organised free eye checkup for more than 270 underprivileged people and provided them with free eyeglasses. They also facilitated two cataract surgeries to spread awareness and bust stigmas and taboos associated with eye donation prompting 200 people to sign eye donation forms. Total 12 handpicked teams from Amity Group of Schools Pan India participated in the event graced by academic, social activist and technocrat Mr. Vinit Goenka, as the chief guest. Mr. Rishikant Mishra, Founder and President, Udaar Foundation, Noida and Dr. Rahul Kapoor, Assistant Professor, Department of Social Work, Gautam Buddha University, Greater Noida were the jury members of the event.
