GT Awards 2018-2019

The annual Inter Amity GT Making a Newspaper Contest introduced by Chairperson Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan and organized by The Global Times, introduces the school students to the different nuances of journalism in a competitive atmosphere. Under this programme, every school prepares one complete edition of the newspaper from the stage of conceptualization to finalizing the designing, layouts and editing. The competition, judged by experts from the media industry, concludes with GT Awards.

GT Awards 2018-2019

The school bagged second runners up trophy for ‘Best School Newspaper Award’ at GT Awards 2018-19 that marked the grand finale of the 11th annual GT making a newspaper contest. The school also lifted runners-up trophy for ‘The Best Design Award’. In the individual category awards, Soumya Sharma & Paridhi Chawla (XII J) and Arushi Gupta (XII C) won the first prize for ‘Best Poster’ and ‘Most Outstanding Story’ respectively. Komal Patel (XII B) was awarded second prize for ‘Best Graphics’, Naomi Rajwanshi (XII J) for ‘Best Photography’ and Aditi Banerji (X D) for ‘Best Fictional Story’. Khushi Saxena (XI I) and Anjanee Khosla (XI F) won the third prize for ‘Most Innovative Story’. Anjanee Khosla was also felicitated with ‘GT Special Mention Award’ for ‘Most Innovative Story’. School time achievement award was given to Arushi Gupta. The glittering ceremony was graced by Ms. Padmaja Joshi, anchor & news editor, Times Now as the chief guest. Ms. Heena Rakheja, principal correspondent, HT, and Mr. Amit Kumar , asst. senior designer HT were the esteemed jury members.
