Asia Pacific Conference for Young Scientists

Arshdeep Taneja and Ishan Malhotra of Class XE won Bronze medals in oral and poster presentation for their project ‘Vision X: The real vision Xpert. Now, plug and play protect’ at the Asia Pacific Conference for Young Scientists (APCYS 2016). The 5th edition of the conference organized from July 14-16, 2016 for students from Class VI to XII was hosted in India for the first time at Amity University Manesar campus. The conference saw some of the best minds and scientific talents from more than 20 countries across the Asia and Pacific showcase research by students in the area of Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Environmental Science and Life Science. Out 40 projects presented from India, 24 projects belonged to Amity Group of Schools. The Asia Pacific Conference of Young Scientists (APCYS) is the Asian chapter of the globally renowned Centre for Young Scientists (CYS) and has played crucial role in exposing young students to International science standards. . The opportunity extended by Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, Chairperson Amity Group of Schools and RBEF under the aegis of Amity’s Children Science Foundation (CSF) aimed at encouraging young students to embark on scientific research.
