To introduce students to the five steps of design thinking namely, empathise, define, ideate, prototype and test, the school organised story enactment and 3-D puppet making activity for the students of Class VII. During the activity, students discussed the meaning of these elements of design thinking and created puppets with specific physical traits using the same elements. They worked together in groups of five and enacted vivid stories with the help of puppets created during the activity. The activity helped students gain an insight into the cognitive, strategic and practical procedures used in the process of design thinking. Moreover, it also inculcated collaborative work skills in the young minds, making them more adept in clear communication and coordination.
