INTERNATIONAL JAMBOREE FOR BHARAT SCOUTS AND GUIDES

Twelve students from Class VI-VIII participated in the International Jamboree for Bharat Scouts and Guides after being selected by the government of Uttar Pradesh and Bharat Scouts and Guides Association of India based on their skills and merit in scouting and guiding. Their science model on soil fertilizer and Covid virus detector got special recognition, as a report of the same was featured in the local newspaper, Kannada Prabha. The programme was hosted by India after 10 years and saw 50,000 scouts and guides take part in it from 22 countries. The weeklong event, with ‘Culture for the Youth Solidarity’ as its theme, saw various programmes held on the topics of agriculture, horticulture, science, books, art, and culture.
