A team of 24 girls from Classes VIII-X secured first position at an Inter-School Band Competition based on the theme ‘patriotism’ organised by Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Siksha Abhiyan. The team was judged on a number of criteria like movement, music, playing rhythm, march past and entry past (by stamping heal and hand swing), accuracy of stamping display, formation, time limit and the overall presentation. The team has also been selected to represent Gautam Budh Nagar in an upcoming Band Competition.
