School bagged the coveted winners trophy along with the awards for Best Editing and Best Headline at the 12th GT Awards, held in hybrid mode with simultaneous screening across all the branches of Amity Group of Schools. It also bagged first prize for best science bed time story, best illustrations, best photography and best headline; second prize for best autobiography, best ABC of news and best poem; third prize for best ground reporting and best just for laughs. Aditi Banerji and Kreetik Thakur, were amongst the eight Amitians who received the prestigious GT School Time Achievement award for having worked with The Global Times throughout their student life. The annual award marked the culmination of inter Amity Making a Newspaper contest in which 10 branches of Amity Group of Schools make their own newspaper contest edition. The contest editions were judged by eminent jury members comprising Shiny Varghese, senior editor, Indian Express and Arya Praharaj, chief illustrator, Times Group.
