The school hosted a pilot session of Amicreatica, a series of creative writing modules held for 27 middle school teachers across Amity Group of Schools. The workshop held in a hybrid mode, trained teachers on how to get students started on their first creative writing portfolio. The module entailed asking students to write a story on a given topic and improvising it over a period with the teacher’s feedback. They also discussed graded planning, character description by integrating art, setting description using picture prompts, and using different words for one expression through activities.
