Holi is Known as the festival of colours, laughter, and the excitement of celebrating with friends. However, when Holi is celebrated thoughtfully it becomes something far more meaningful.
As we approach Holi 2026, the celebrations at Amity International School Noida focus not just on festive joy, but on understanding the significance and building a deeper connection to our culture and values, the foundation on which Amity and its philosophy thrives.
The Meaning Behind the festival
At Amity International School Noida, Holi begins with a peaceful Havan ceremony. Students and teachers gather together, creating a calm and reflective atmosphere before the festivities begin. There is a quiet sense of unity as everyone participates in the rituals associated with the Havan.
The sacred fire symbolises the burning away of negativity and the welcoming of positivity, reflecting the powerful message of Holika Dahan. Children listen carefully as they absorb the reasons behind the rituals. It therefore transforms the experience from merely a tradition to reflection on inner growth.
After the Havan, teachers share the story of Prahlad and Narasimha dev, a story of courage, faith and devotion. The story is a strong reminder of choosing kindness and believing in goodness for the greater benefit of humanity.
Through these shared moments, the strong emphasis on values at Amity are gently reinforced, making the celebrations joyful yet thoughtful.
Small Activities, Big Learning
Once the rituals of havan and storytelling are emphasised, the celebration continues with creative classroom experiences. Young children engage in colour-based games, simple crafts, and storytelling circle time activities that encourage not only their participation but provide a creative outlet to their imagination.
The environment all around is lively and full of learning that flows naturally through play and interaction.
Celebrating More than just Colours
At Amity International School Noida, Holi is not just about festivity, it is about building a character and community. The rituals, the stories and the shared celebrations come together to create lasting impressions and shaping one’s personality rooted in traditions.
Holi at Amity serves as a strong reminder that festivals are not just synonymous with enjoyment but also are meant to be understood in their true essence
This Holi 2026, may the true colours continue to inspire courage and strong values in every young heart at Amity Noida.

At Amity International School Noida, every achievement by our students feels personal. It reflects the hard work in classrooms, the encouragement from teachers, and the confidence students carry when they step forward to represent their school.
We are delighted to share one such proud moment with our community.
Recently, our students participated in the Hindi Olympiad Foundation Competition 2026, a platform that brings together young minds from across the world to celebrate excellence in the Hindi language. The International Award Ceremony 2026, held at the C. D. Deshmukh Auditorium turned out to be a truly memorable occasion for us.
Among over 8,000 schools from 30 countries, Amity International School Noida secured International Rank 1.
It was a moment of pride, excitement, and deep gratitude for everyone who has been part of this journey.
A Vision That Inspires Excellence
For us, achievements like this are a reflection of the learning culture we nurture every day, where knowledge and character grow hand in hand.
At Amity, that culture is shaped by the visionary leadership of Dr. (Mrs.) Amita Chauhan, whose guidance continues to inspire students to excel while staying connected to their language and cultural roots.
Another proud moment from the ceremony was when our Director Principal, Ms. Renu Singh, was honoured with the Sarvashreshth School Puraskar. This recognition celebrates the school’s dedication to nurturing a strong foundation in Hindi and encouraging students to take pride in their linguistic heritage.
The Students Who Made It Possible
Behind every award are hours of preparation, curiosity, and the willingness to learn.
Our students delivered an exceptional performance in the competition and brought home an impressive set of achievements:
• 35 Gold Medals
• 91 Silver Medals
• 156 Bronze Medals

Each medal represents a student who believed in their ability and gave their best.
We would also like to make a special mention of Satvik Bhatia (Class X A), who secured a Top International Rank (4–10), adding another proud milestone to this achievement.
More Than a Win
For us, this recognition is not just about ranking first. It is about celebrating the beauty of the Hindi language, encouraging students to express themselves confidently, and reminding them that their roots can take them to global platforms.
Moments like these strengthen our belief that when students are nurtured with the right guidance, values, and opportunities, they can truly shine anywhere in the world. And the entire Amity family proudly celebrates this milestone together.
