Archit Roy from Class V received a certificate of recognition for his project ‘PS MAT (power saving mat)’ at IRIS National Fair. Being the youngest participant, his project idea was highly appreciated by Chief Guest, Dr. Abhay Karandikar, Secretary, DST. Around 100 science projects from all over India were displayed at IRIS National Fair this year. IRIS (Initiative for Research and Innovation in STEM) national fair is a programme supported by Department of Science and Technology (DST). It rewards outstanding projects and the winners represent India at the Regeneron International Science and Engineering (ISEF) held in the USA.
