In keeping with the vision of the respected Chairperson of the Amity Group of Schools, Dr (Mrs) Amita Chauhan, who feels that art and culture should be at the heart of any progressive society, the Amity Educational Resource Centre (AERC), Director, Ms Jyoti Arora tied up with the Korean Cultural centre and organised a wonderful musical play, at Amity International School Noida’s on the 1st of December, 2015. The Musical play was based on a Korean folk tale, “Princess Pyeonggang and Ondal the Fool “. The play which was performed by Bookteller’s Quilt, a theatre group based in Korea, was a very creative tale presented in the form of a theatrical performance that combined songs, spoken dialogue, acting, and dance. The interactive and vibrant acting of the korean artists elicited huge rounds of applause from the extremely enthusiastic junior school audience. The Principal of A.I.S,Noida, Mrs Renu Singh, felt that it was only such joyous cultural performances which can make the little ones happy. The event ended with the Vice Principal of A.I.S,Noida, Ms Jyoti Arora offering her profuse appreciation about the energy and commitment that was so evident in the performance of the extremely talented korean artists.
