Around 32 science enthusiasts and CSIR awardees from different branches of Amity Group of Schools attended an interactive talk on Energy Management – An Indian Perspective by Dr N Kalaiselvi, director general, CSIR, at AUUP. The event organised by Amity Science, Technology, and Innovation Foundation (ASTIF) and facilitated by Amity’s Children Science Foundation (ACSF), was graced by Dr Ashok K Chauhan, Founder President, Amity Universe; Dr Atul Chauhan, Chancellor, AUUP; Abhay Chauhan, Senior Vice President, RBEF; Amol Chauhan, Executive Director, Founder President’s Office and other eminent experts, scientists, and scholars from the energy sector, academics, and government organisations. Dr Kalaiselvi spoke comprehensively on CSIR technology spectrum which ignited the spirit of innovation in young minds of India. She also shed light on various key fellowship schemes and initiatives by CSIR for school students like JIGYASA. With her passionate oration on energy management, she impactfully drove home key points like the need for positive change in the energy sector, urgency to address the energy challenges, and the importance of clean, green, and sustainable energy for all. She highlighted the future of energy management through sodium ion batteries and hydrogen. Amitians were also extended an exclusive opportunity to share their innovations and sought her expert opinion on improving the same.
