WRO (World Robotics Olympiad)

The World Robot Olympiad is a global robotics competition for young people. First held in 2004 in Singapore, it now attracts 1000 participants from 32 countries.

The competition consists of two different categories. In the regular category, teams must assemble robots that can solve a specific problem. In the open category, teams must present designs for robots, based on a given theme. The contest is also conducted for three different age groups: elementary, junior and senior.

WRO 2010 was conducted in Philippines. Three students from class XI, Raghav Kochar, Sartak Vaish and Aditya Garg, participated and were declared 4th internationally.

Amity Noida, being a steady participant to the World Robot Olympiad has won many accolades for its performances. Following is a detail list of awards received in the different categories over the years in the World Robot Olympiad –
