School bagged second runner up position and the award for Best Mentor Teacher at the 14th Youth Power finale held offline after a hiatus of two years. A team of four young individuals, namely Praneel Dev and Harsimran Kaur of Class XI and Ishaani Chaudhary and Manya Gupta of Class IX, took up the cause of body positivity as their initiative DehSaakaar, (‘Deh’ means body and ‘Saakaar’ is short for ‘Saakaaraatmakta’ meaning ‘Positivity’). The highlight of their activities was a collaboration with an NGO and made actual body positive dolls to help revolutionise the toy industry. A total of 11 handpicked teams from Amity Group of Schools across Delhi-NCR and UP participated in this event graced by Ayushman Jamwal, Senior Editor, CNN News 18 as the Chief Guest. The annual ethical leadership and social awareness competition was judged by eminent jury comprising social worker Dr Neha Sharma and Dr Amitabh Singh, Associate Professor, JNU.
