Young innovators of the school won big laurels at the Youth Ideathon 2023, India’s most exciting innovation and entrepreneurship competition for school students, organised by MEPSC (Management & Entrepreneurship and Professional Skill Council) and ThinkStartup, India’s largest entrepreneurship education provider. Team Amidea, consisting of Viaan Mehta, Aaradhya Chatterjee, Yuvaan Gupta, and Ativeer Rajput, all from Class IV, clinched the gold medal for their exceptional presentation and delivery. Team Menstrumate, comprising Anupriya Nayak, Vanalika Konwar, and Prisha Dubey, all from Class XII, secured silver medal, along with a grant of 10,000 INR, and an additional 5,000 INR for their mentor to further support product development. The annual competition was based on the theme of ‘iStartup a Good Thing for India’. Students are guided to identify societal problems and propose solutions under the theme ‘Mera Idea Jo Badal De Bharat’. The event witnessed around 1.5 lakh students participate in a five-stage competition. Out of the initial 50,000 entries, 1000 ideas were selected for finals at the all India level, which then competed for the top slots.
