The school has joined the prestigious Eco School program, under the Foundation for Environmental Education, a global sustainable programme that has provided a structured framework for creating and executing environmental action plans. The program has helped foster positive impacts in key areas such as water conservation, waste management, energy efficiency, biodiversity preservation, and promoting healthy living practices using the Seven Steps Methodology and an eco charter developed by the students. The school follows eco school practices like rain water harvesting, composting unit, recycling unit (paper recycling), no junk food for snacks and lunch break, waste segregation and use of eco-friendly materials for all activities. The program has been vital in instilling a sense of responsibility among the students while also creating an opportunity for them to imbibe sustainability as the way of life.
