The winsome team mentored by Vandana Seth and lead by Nandini Sukhija (XI) along with Sarah Susan Varkey (XI), Aviral Arora (XI) and Khushi (XI) taught the people all about the benefits of adopting ‘organic livin’g as the way of life. Their vision to promote happy and healthy living won the team the award of ‘Youth Icon 2017-18’. They also won the award for ‘Best Social Media engagement’. A very prominent initiative of the team was distribution of organic pads and banning plastic tiffins, water bottles etc., in the school premises. The team also collaborated with Wasteroots to exchange old newpapers with air purifying flower plants. They also helped the primary section create a vertical garden made by planters created from old waste plastic bottles. Team also helped middle school children create beautifully designed paper coasters embedded with seeds.
